breathtaking...

he won. he really won... he really won...

words can't express...

and now we wait...

i hate this part!

booo texas...

that is all. still love you julia.

mccain camp turns tv off in campaign hq

awwww..

quiere?

just broke the seal...

came back to find out that white, working class voters like barack

and

in the shock of the decade, voters think palin is incompetent

ohiooooooooooooooo!

yes! yes! yes!

yea, yea mccain got west virginia and louisiana...suprise, surprise

new mexicooooooooo

yes! yes! yes!

do you feel it? do you feel it?

i can feel it. i can also feel the rum. get live with me america!

lmao

a dear friend from minnesota just made a mild jab at david patterson's cockeye. then realized he may be blind. lol.

see? politics can be fun kids!

wow

imagine if you didn't vote. you gotta feel really bad right now. i mean, the biggest moment of your life and you just sat on the bench? you suck. alot. no ifs, ands, or buts about it. you suck hard. you make carrot top look like a success story. you fail. you got owned by life. your mom would vote for obama for the right to abort you. yea, i took it there.

chicago gathering

70,000 invites. open invitation from the mayor. millions expected. i'm jealous.

in other news, the pineapple juice ran out. shots from here on out. we're entering dangerous territory.

ny woman...

...likens this election night to nelson mandela's election in south africa.

i'm proud.

so let it be written so let it be done

'democrat' has been added to the drinking game!

get ready to call out people!

the republican party...

...is delusional.

it's over. i'm calling it.

(i'm gonna feel really stupid, among other things, if i'm wrong about this in the morning)

btw...'polls' and 'too close to call' have been added to the drinking game. enjoy.

damn you brian williams!

stop telling me you have news and then informing me the states are too close to call!

if they are too close to call then stop pretending to call them!

btw, it's patriotic to drink bacardi during the election right? puerto rico being a commonwealth and all...

in other news, i'm keeping my fingers crossed on the new york senate race. honestly paid no attention to it due to ny's shitty political behavior over the previous year or so, but it's pretty damn important.

si se puede!

can't take the pressure?

drinking game!

drink whenever the words 'caucus' or 'battleground' is mentioned.

add more words as you see fit.

enjoy!

blue stays blue red stays red

and john mccain's dreams will soon be dead.

obama's got the lead back. c'mon battleground states!!

lol, perhaps i should stop drinking. but can you blame me?

my kind of candidate

with the pressure of the nation on his shoulders this afternoon, barack obama took a step back - and drained the three. that's right. obama took some time out to clear his head with a game of basketball on chicago's west side with a group of friends. i love this man.

and if you don't like that, you don't like nba basketball!

so technically obama is behind...

...kentucky's 8 electoral votes to vermont's 3. but no worries, if you've seen glory road you knew obama wasn't taking kentucky.

where o where has our little bush gone?

i'm humored by the fact that dubya hasn't made any public appearances in 5 days, even cancelling a scheduled white house briefing. sounds like mccain is trying to get as far away from bush's shadow as possible. don't blame him, but it is amusing to see exactly how far the republicans have fallen.

for all you impatient voters...

eager to get results. concrete results will not begin to come in until after 6pm when indiana polls close.

btw - here's a quote to keep in mind today

"if everyone is thinking alike then someone isn't thinking"
- George S. Patton (1885 - 1945)

remember, we're all in this together. republican, democrat. liberal, conservative. black, white. we all have the right to choose who we vote for. and today's winner will be the person that was democratically chosen by the american people (well the electoral college, but that's ideally the same thing. notice the emphasis on ideally.) try to show respect and restraint when expressing opinions today. we all want the same thing - a better tomorrow. we might not all have the same opinion on how to get there, but the best we can do is cross our fingers and cast our ballot. again, we're in this together. regardless of who wins. let's act like it. a nation divided will not stand.

don't let this be you

breaking news

your vote counts. make it happen
